FOREST WALKS
July and August 2012
In the summer of 2012 I spent several weeks at the edge of the Coconino Forest in Northern Arizona. A vast pine forest, this section sandwiched between vacation homes and the road to Sedona is under duress form the threat of fires and the transition to a forest of oaks.
I walked daily with a dog and was often stalked by an ever more aggressive coyote guarding her den and I could smell the hyenas who daily trolled this borderland. Mostly I photographed alone and framed the landscape over and over again Framing and re-framing the landscape.
This is one awesome blog.Much thanks again. Fantastic.
