SPRING  2-11 to 3-11
The series “Spring” explo
res the intersection of image and the technology that supports it. For eight years I utilized transmitted images of contemporary events as the basis for the images I created. Titled “The Closeness of Mars” this work examined the uneven transmissions of satellite and cell phone transmissions and their interface with different and changing television technologies.

This series moves from electronic transmission to paper. All the images are scanned from newsprint and then printed from electronic files to paper again. The original images were all published
from February-March 2011.
